Maggie Hos-McGrane has been teaching for over 30 years, 25 of these in international schools in Europe and Asia. She is passionate about empowering teachers to use technology to transform learning. Maggie has taught students from age 3 to 18 in the IB PYP, MYP and DP programmes. She is also an IB consultant, IB school visitor and IB workshop leader, facilitating both online, face-to-face regional workshops and in-school workshops. Maggie has presented about technology integration at international conferences including ISTE, Learning2, ECIS, AASSA and EARCOS, in Asia, Europe, Africa, North and South America. Maggie is a Google Innovator, has published several books about digital citizenship and technology integration, and has been recognized as one of the 365 heroes of education by Anthony Salcito, the Vice-President of Worldwide Education at Microsoft.
For the past 4 years Maggie has been on a journey to become a Cognitive Coaching agency trainer. She has facilitated training at schools in India and Malaysia, and led workshops on coaching for Indian NGOs. Maggie has also presented about coaching at ISTE, NESA, and the Vietnam Technology Conference. Maggie documents her growth as an educator, coach and leader on her blog, Tech Transformation, which is read by more than one million educators worldwide.
Maggie is currently the Director of Educational Technology at the American School of Bombay. Starting in July, she will be Consilience’s Director of Coaching Services.
