Bio: Evan Weinberg has taught mathematics and science at the high school level for the past fifteen years. He worked at public schools in New York City until the fall of 2010, when he moved with his wife to China to begin his international teaching career. He is now in his second year teaching mathematics at Saigon South International School. He enjoys helping students become independent and reflective learners who seek out meaningful work. He also looks for ways to use and build technology to help his students (and himself) be more efficient. Evan is an Apple Distinguished Educator, and has previously presented on computational thinking and using technology in the classroom at the Vietnam Tech Conference, EARCOS, 21CLHK, and Learning 2.0.
