Alex McMillan School:American International School
Bio: Alex was originally a Language Arts teacher, but has transitioned into the role of a tech coach at AIS due to his love of technology! As a tech coach Alex is able work with teachers and help them make connections and find ways to make the content areas relevant to students in the 21st century.
Alex loves technology because it gives him the chance to be creative and problem solve. Since he was 4 years old he has had a Mac in his bedroom. And From “”playing”” with technology, Alex has taught himself digital photography and Photoshop to the point where he was able to use his skills as a commercial photographer. He has worked with Burger King, Sapporo Beer, Color Me Run, Coke, to name a few. You might have seen his work on the side of a taxi or in Vivo City.
Alex has been working abroad for the last 12 years in Vietnam and Japan.
