UNESCO called us all to action in 2015 by stating that “Education can, and must, contribute to a new vision of sustainable global development.” What could that mean for us teachers, tech coaches or administrators in international schools? Bill Gates recently claimed that we are trending towards the positive in a global sense. ” On the whole, the world is getting better. When you see good things happening, you can channel your energy into driving even more progress.” It’s time to take the lead in ensuring that our schools are innovatively focusing on ways to promote and practice sustainability.
