Planning and organization
- Has explicit connection with the conference theme
- Has clear objective(s) that can be shared with the audience at the start
- Has short publishable description and identifies general skill level and prior knowledge needed by participants (on application form)
- Has clear and accessible resources available for participants that are submitted ahead of time
Presentation
- Workshop models pedagogy that supports the content
- Participants have opportunity to apply ideas to own situation and connect with others about content
- There is a logical flow of ideas and materials in the presentation
- Information is conveyed clearly and through several media and/or modes of communication
- Inspires participants to stretch ideas, take action
